Edification and Careers (Pvt.) Limited ("Edification", "we", "us"), Lahore, Pakistan, runs this website. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can ask us to do.
What we collect
- When you request a session: your name, WhatsApp number, and, if you choose to give them, your email, city and country, route of interest, preferred session type and any notes you write. If you used the Path Finder before booking, we also receive a short summary of its suggested routes.
- Your Path Finder answers and currency choice are kept only in your own browser. We do not receive them unless you book a session.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
Please do not enter passport, national ID or bank details in any form on this site. We will never ask for them through the website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange your session, usually on WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To prepare your counsellor so the session is useful.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with universities, embassies, employers or other agents unless you ask us to as part of a service you have agreed to.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), in a data centre in Mumbai, India. Only authorised Edification staff can read them. Google acts as our service provider and handles data under its own terms and security controls.
How long we keep it
We keep a booking request for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any service that follows, and normally delete requests that did not lead to a service within 24 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to the address below from the email or phone number you used, and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
Stories and testimonials
We publish a person's name, words and outcome only with their written consent, and we remove a story on request.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores your Path Finder answers and currency choice in your browser's local storage so they are there when you return; you can clear this at any time in your browser settings.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
